銆€銆€Abstract: Vehicle seat suspension is one of the most effective ways to reduce vibration caused to driver body, in particular, for heavy duty vehicles. Most of currently available active and semi-active seat suspensions use linear actuators to provide the required forces, however, the cost is high and the structure is complex. In this talk, the active and semi-active seat suspensions with rotary actuators are introduced to overcome the above mentioned problems. In addition, an acceleration measurement based friction estimation algorithm is developed and implemented in addition to the applied robust control strategy. The proposed scheme is experimentally validated. The experimental results show that the proposed seat suspensions are very practical for real applications due to their low cost, simple structure and high effectiveness. Both single DOF seat suspension and multiple DOF seat suspension are discussed.
